NEWS LEADERS AND LAGGARDS Crocs (CROX), Tina Solar (TSL) and Amarin (AMRN) are headed higher this morning, while Myriad Genetics (MYGN), Twitter (TWTR) and TD Ameritrade (AMTD) are headed lower. There were no major analyst upgrades or downgrades reported this morning. MARKET OVERVIEW Asian stock market exchanges were mostly higher overnight. The Taiwan TSEC rose 1.0%, while the Nikkei 225 added 0.7%.On the flip side, the Shanghai SEC and the Mumbai Sensex each lost 0.2%. Tomorrow will be a shortened session for many of the trading floors in Asia. In Europe, the major exchanges slid into red territory this morning with no large news pushing stocks in either direction. The FTSE 100 is down 0.4% at last check, while the Swiss Market Index was off 0.3%. The French CAC 40 and Euronex 100 were only down about 0.1%. In commodities trading this morning, crude oil futures are moving slightly lower with the front-month West Texas Intermediate contract back below $100 at $99.75, down 0.6%. Natural gas is up 1.6%, while heating oil and gasoline are both slightly lower. Gold and other metals are down today. The U.S. Dollar is weaker against the Euro but slightly higher versus the Yen, and Bitcoins are trading around $740. PUT/CALL RATIO Yesterday, 1,060,337 call contracts traded on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) compared to 567,824 put contracts. The single-session put/call was 0.54, while the 20-day moving average is now at 0.55. SUPPORT & RESISTANCE LEVELS The S&P 500 Depository Receipts (SPY) ETF has support at $178 and is above resistance. The Nasdaq 100 (QQQ) has support at $84 and is above resistance.
