STOCKS ON THE MOVE
JP Energy Partners (JPEP) was upgraded by analysts this morning while StemCells (STEM), PlasmaTech Biopharma (PTBI) and Biodel (BIOD) were downgraded. Altera Corp.(ALTR), Juno Therapeutics Inc. (JUNO) and MannKind Corp. (MNKD) are early risers, while BHP Billiton plc (BBL), BHP Billiton Limited (BHP) and Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Co. Ltd. (SHI) are down.

INTERNATIONAL MARKETS
Asian stocks finished mixed Monday as the Japanese banking sector helped stocks there move higher. The Hang Seng fell 0.83%, while the Nikkei was up 0.80%. European markets are lower as the ratings service DBRS lowered its rating on Greece just before that country faces a major payment deadline. The FTSE is up 0.40% while the DAX is down 0.53%.

FUTURES & CURRENCIES
Energy futures are mixed today. The price for West Texas Intermediate crude oil is up $0.79 to $61.33 per barrel, while natural gas is down $0.02 to $3.05. Metals prices are mixed. Gold is up $0.40 to $1,225.70 per ounce and platinum is down $0.40 to $1,168.70 an ounce. The Dollar is up versus the Euro and the Yen.

PUT/CALL RATIO
Yesterday, 1,076,432 call contracts traded on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) compared to 600,873 put contracts. The single-session put/call was 0.56 while the 20-day moving average is now at 0.63.
