FUTURES & CURRENCIES Energy futures are mixed today. The price for West Texas Intermediate crude oil is up $0.17 to $32.95 per barrel, while natural gas is down $0.08 to $1.71. Metals prices are lower. Gold is up $9.50 to $1,229.90 per ounce and platinum is up $8.90 to $924.00 an ounce. The Dollar is up versus the Euro and down versus the Yen. PUT/CALL RATIO Yesterday, 815,309 call contracts traded on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) compared to 520,333 put contracts. The single-session put/call was 0.64 while the 20-day moving average is now at 0.75.
