European markets are rising today on pace for a fourth straight positive session. The FTSE is up 1.53%, while the DAX is up 2.31%. FUTURES & CURRENCIES Energy futures are mixed this morning. The price for West Texas Intermediate crude oil is down $0.57 to $41.60 per barrel, while natural gas is up $0.03 to $2.03. Metals prices are lower. Gold is down $17.40 to $1,243.50 per ounce and platinum is down $8.90 to $990.80. The Dollar is up versus the Euro and the Yen. PUT/CALL RATIO Yesterday, 726756 call contracts traded on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) compared to 526897 put contracts. The single-session put/call was 0.724998486424605 while the 20-day moving average is now at 0.7.
