NEWS LEADERS AND LAGGARDS-----------------------------------------
So far this morning, UAL Corporation (UAUA), Sony (SNE), and Cisco
Systems (CSCO) lead the list of companies with positive news, while
H&R Block (HRB), Comerica (CMA), and Texas Instruments (TXN) lead
the list of companies with negative news. YUM! Brands (YUM),
Petrohawk Energy (HK), and Health Net (HNT) were upgraded this
morning, while Toyota Motor (TM), First Solar (FSLR), and Textron
(TXT) received downgrades.

MARKET OVERVIEW---------------------------------------------------
Overseas trading is in trouble this morning, as only three of the
10 foreign indexes that we track are in positive territory. The
cumulative average return on the collective stands at a loss of
0.37%. In Asian trading, stock markets reversed earlier losses,
ending mixed on Tuesday. Japanese exporters were mixed, with Canon
down 0.38% and Honda Motor edged up 0.3%, while Sony gained 1%.
Panasonic advanced 2% after the electronics maker said it will
launch its 3D TVs in the United States on Wednesday, and cooperate
with top U.S. electronics retailer Best Buy in promoting the
products. In Europe, equities slipped for a second straight
session, with weaker financial and mining stocks outweighing
stronger food producers.

Strength in the U.S. dollar and expectations for a rise in U.S.
petroleum supplies has applied quite a bit of pressure to crude
futures this morning. In fact, the April contract has plunged
nearly 2% to trade at $80.25 heading into the open. Adding to the
commodities woes, the U.S. dollar has been bid higher in the wake
of a Fitch warning that a default on European sovereign debt
profile is deteriorating. As a result, the U.S. Dollar Index is up
0.43% at 80.78. Finally, gold has also been smacked lower by a
stronger dollar, with futures falling $6.80 to trade at $1,117.20
an ounce.

PUT/CALL RATIO ---------------------------------------------------
Equity option activity on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE)
saw 1,396,739 call contracts traded on Monday, compared to 788,575
put contracts. The resultant single-session put/call ratio arrived
at 0.52, while the 21-day moving average slipped to 0.66.

SUPPORT & RESISTANCE LEVELS --------------------------------------
The S&P Depository Receipts (SPY) show support in the neighborhood
of $109.85 and resistance around $115.15. For the Nasdaq 100
(QQQQ), support is near $45.40 and resistance is around $46.65.
