MARKET OVERVIEW---------------------------------------------------
Overseas trading looks strong this morning, as all 10 foreign
indexes that we track are in positive territory. The cumulative
average return on the collective stands at a gain of 0.82%. Asian
regional indexes rallied sharply on Monday, with commodities and
resource stocks leading a broad advance due to higher commodity
prices. Across the pond in Europe, stocks are pulling back from
early morning highs, as trouble in the pharmaceuticals sector is
affecting investor sentiment.

A rally in commodities overseas has led to strength in crude oil
prices heading into the open this morning. At last check, crude
futures were 27 cents higher at $81.77 per barrel. The move comes
at the expense of the U.S. dollar, as the U.S. Dollar Index has
slipped 0.08% to trade at 80.37 in pre-market activity. Finally,
gold has been unable to take advantage of the greenback's weakness,
with futures falling $1.40 to trade at $1,133.80 an ounce.

PUT/CALL RATIO ---------------------------------------------------
Equity option activity on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE)
saw 1,505,197 call contracts traded on Friday, compared to 788,575
put contracts. The resultant single-session put/call ratio arrived
at 0.52, while the 21-day moving average slipped to 0.67.
