NEWS LEADERS AND LAGGARDS-----------------------------------------
So far this morning, Big Lots (BIG), Joy Global (JOYG), and
Hovnanian Enterprises (HOV) lead the list of companies with
positive news, while Costco (COST), BJ's Wholesale Club (BJ), and
Pfizer (PFE) lead the list of companies with negative news.
Schlumberger (SLB), Paychex (PAYX), and Freeport-McMoRan (FCX) were
upgraded this morning, while Netflix (NFLX), AnnTaylor (ANN), and
Fresh Del Monte (FDP) received downgrades.

MARKET OVERVIEW---------------------------------------------------
Overseas trading is mixed this morning, as only five of the 10
foreign indexes that we track are in positive territory. The
cumulative average return on the collective stands at a gain of
0.27%. In Asia, stocks climbed for the fourth consecutive session
as investors held out hope for a bailout package for debt-ridden
Greece. However, trade was lackluster with investors sidelined
ahead of key U.S. jobs data due out on Friday. Trading is mostly
lower in Europe, with gains in life insurers offsetting weakness in
the oil sector, while sentiment improved after a source said the
Greek cabinet had agreed on additional austerity measures.

The U.S. dollar is headed lower this morning, as traders position
themselves ahead of today's flood of economic data, which includes
the Fed's Beige Book. As a result, the U.S. Dollar Index has
slipped 0.36% to 80.23 in pre-market trading. Commodities are
getting a boost from the weakening greenback, with crude futures
rising 0.51% to $80.09 per barrel. The weekly report on U.S.
petroleum stockpiles is also due out later today, so oil traders
should keep an eye out for the latest figures. Finally, gold is
moderately higher in London, with futures adding $3.60 to trade at
$1,141 an ounce.

PUT/CALL RATIO ---------------------------------------------------
Equity option activity on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE)
saw 1,382,361 call contracts traded on Tuesday, compared to 786,376
put contracts. The resultant single-session put/call ratio arrived
at 0.57, while the 21-day moving average dropped to 0.67.

SUPPORT & RESISTANCE LEVELS --------------------------------------
The S&P Depository Receipts (SPY) show support in the neighborhood
of $109.50 and resistance around $115.10. For the Nasdaq 100
(QQQQ), support is near $43.80 and resistance is around $46.65.
