So far this morning, MBIA (MBIA), Domino's Pizza (DPZ), and Dell
(DELL) lead the list of companies with positive news, while Staples
(SPLS), AutoZone (AZO), and NutriSystem (NTRI) lead the list of
companies with negative news. Suncor Energy (SU), Berry Petroleum
(BRY), and Regal Entertainment (RGC) were upgraded this morning,

MARKET OVERVIEW---------------------------------------------------
Overseas trading remains firmly in positive territory this morning,
as eight of the 10 foreign indexes that we track are in positive
territory. The cumulative average return on the collective stands
at a gain of 0.55%. In Asia, regional indexes were mostly higher,
with Japan and South Korea led by technology plays, but the Hong
Kong market skidded following disappointing earnings from HSBC.
Meanwhile, trading in Europe is higher, with weakness in financials
and drug makers offsetting gains in personal good makers after
L'Oreal rose on Nestle stake reports.
Iranian threats to cut off oil supplies to European countries
bolstered crude prices in yesterday's trading, with the front-month
contract gaining 1.2% on the session. Crude is holding onto this
strength in pre-market trading, rising 0.44% to $79.05, despite
continued strength in the U.S. dollar. Speaking of which, the U.S.
Dollar Index is up 0.12%, with the index holding firm above support
in the round-number 80 region. Finally, gold futures are
fractionally higher in London, rising $2.80 to $1,121.10 an ounce.
